SecureSend

Privacy Policy

Effective June 30, 2026

SecureSend is an anonymous post-office messaging app developed by Leading Edge Technology Consulting, LLC ("LETC"). Contact: securesendsupport@gmail.com.

What we store

To run the service our server stores: the username (pseudoname) you choose; the free-text bio you choose to add (visible to other users who search); your public encryption and signing keys; a salted hash of the password you enter at registration; the registration time; and, for messages you send or receive, the sender and recipient usernames, the time, and the encrypted message. Messages are encrypted on your phone to the recipient's key; SecureSend cannot read them. Your private keys are created on your phone, stored only on your phone, and never sent to us.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or advertising identifiers. The server is a Tor onion service, so we do not receive your IP address.

Retention and deletion

Messages are deleted from the server 30 days after they are sent, or sooner when you delete them. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Inbox menu; this deletes your account record and all messages you sent or received. If you lose your phone or delete the app, your private keys are lost and your account cannot be recovered; the username remains reserved until it is deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to track you. Our server is hosted by Microsoft Azure, which stores the data described above on our behalf.

This website

This website uses no cookies, scripts or analytics. Opening it from the app uses your normal browser, outside Tor.
